Five Tides NH: Growing Tide for Ocean Conservation
At Five Tides Apparel in New Hampshire, everything starts with one idea: you don’t have to live by the water to care deeply about it. We’re a small coastal-inspired clothing brand with a big goal—to help grow ocean conservation awareness and, as we grow, be able to financially support the organizations protecting the waters that inspire us.
Right now, Five Tides is a lean, growing brand. We’re not a giant company writing big checks yet—but we believe in being honest about where we are and clear about where we’re going. The long-term vision is simple: build a community of landlocked, sea-hearted people who love the ocean, and then use part of what we earn to give back to the seas we all care about.
Coastal Clothing With a Purpose
Our designs are rooted in subtle, ocean-inspired graphics and calm coastal vibes. Think lighthouses, waves, whales, sea turtles, and simple seaside horizons—not flashy surf logos. We create tees, hoodies, hats, and bucket hats for people who may live inland but still feel connected to the tides.
Every piece is meant to be a small, wearable reminder of the ocean and why it matters. When you pull on a hoodie with a lighthouse or a T-shirt with a whale tail, we want you to feel that connection—and maybe talk about it. That quiet conversation is where ocean conservation awareness often begins.
Why Ocean Conservation Matters to Us
Based in New Hampshire, we live close enough to see how precious and fragile coastlines are. The ocean shapes our weather, supports marine life, and fuels coastal communities. It also silently absorbs the impact of pollution, overfishing, and climate change.
We see ocean conservation as more than a buzzword. Healthy oceans mean healthier ecosystems, more stable climates, and a better future for coastal towns and inland communities alike. Whether you’re walking a New Hampshire beach, hiking near a lake, or living in a landlocked city, what happens to the oceans eventually reaches you.
Growing First, Giving More Later
We’re upfront about our stage: Five Tides is still working toward steady profit. That means we’re not yet able to donate large amounts to conservation groups—but that’s our clear, long-term goal.
As we grow, we aim to:
- Partner with trusted marine conservation organizations
- Create special limited designs where a portion of profits goes directly to ocean protection
- Share more educational content about protecting waterways, plastic reduction, and responsible coastal travel
Right now, our main focus is building a strong, sustainable brand so we can eventually give in a way that’s consistent and meaningful—not just one-time gestures.
A Community of Landlocked Sea Lovers
Our customers share one thing: a love for the coast, even if they live far from it. Many are busy adults who can’t be at the beach every weekend, but still decorate their homes with nautical art, plan ocean vacations, and wear clothing that reflects that side of themselves.
By wearing Five Tides, you’re not just choosing coastal clothing; you’re joining a small but growing movement of people who believe that what we love, we protect. Awareness comes first, and funding follows. Both start with community.
The Future Tides We Want to See
Our dream is simple: a future where our brand is strong enough that part of every collection, every season, helps fund ocean conservation—from restoring habitats and supporting marine wildlife to cleaning beaches and educating the next generation.
Until then, we’ll keep designing calm, coastal apparel that keeps the ocean on your mind and in your conversations. If Five Tides resonates with you, you’re already part of this tide.
Wear the coast. Grow the awareness. Help us get to the day when we can send real, ongoing support back to the waters that started it all.
